There’s no doubt that Ibiza is the best destination with the best places to get married in Ibiza, whether you dream of a wedding by the sea or a modern hotel as the backdrop for the most special day of your life.

Fortunately, you have plenty of options to celebrate love in style.

Every year, couples from all over the world visit Ibiza on their vacation and decide to say «I do» in small and cozy churches, modern design hotels, or magnificent luxury villas, surrounded by the sea and breathtaking Mediterranean landscapes.

Churches to get married in Ibiza

There are more than 20 churches to get married in Ibiza, each one is unique and special, each has a different corner, a facade, or an altarpiece.

Ibiza’s churches stand out for their unique charm, their architecture, and especially their white color. Due to their small size, weddings in churches in Ibiza are usually intimate and cozy.

Most of these churches are located in small towns, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and offer beautiful landscapes and views.

The churches are spread across the island, with each municipality having several temples, so I’ve selected the 5 best for you.

Catedral de Santa María

Located on top of Dalt Vila, the historic center of Ibiza, it offers a spectacular view of the city and the harbor. At the entrance to the cathedral, there is a lovely square. Once inside, the decoration will leave you impressed, both for its beauty and simplicity.

Getting to the door by wedding car is difficult, as the access streets are narrow. Guests have a parking area a few meters below, which allows access to the church via a small tunnel.

Iglesia de Santa Eulària (Puig de Missa)

A beautiful white church with extraordinary views of the town of Santa Eulalia and the Mediterranean Sea, as it is located on a small «puig» (hill), surrounded by pine trees and cacti. The church can be accessed from the Santa Eulalia road, which is very busy during the high season, and once at the church, parking is tricky. It is recommended to park in the village and walk up.

Iglesia de Sant Llorenç

If what you’re looking for is a church away from civilization, this is the one for you. A small white church, with a large exterior square and ample parking, makes it a good option for celebrating your wedding in Ibiza.

Iglesia de Es Cubells

The small church of Es Cubells is located right on the edge of a cliff, and it is stunning to leave the ceremony and do a wedding photo shoot in Ibiza with the island of Formentera in the background and the magnificent Mediterranean Sea.
