Couple photo session in Ibiza, a wonderful memory

Whether you are getting married, planning a spectacular marriage proposal, or simply want to capture beautiful memories with your partner in the city where you live or during your dream vacation, doing a couple photo session in Ibiza is always a great idea.

Couple Photo Session Ibiza

It can be a way to surprise that special person with a photo session in Ibiza.

For couple photos to work and be spectacular, it’s important to capture the complicity, love, and happiness you exude when together, and that’s exactly what I, as a couple photographer in Ibiza, aim to create with a couple photoshoot in Ibiza.

Ibiza and its landscapes provide the best backdrop for these photos. Beaches and countless spots, where nature serves as the perfect setting for a couple’s photo book.

These sessions are special, and if you truly want them to reflect your feelings, I am the professional who can achieve this.

Preparing for the photoshoot

For any photoshoot to be truly worthwhile and deliver the desired results, it’s necessary to make preparations first. It’s important to meet with at least one participant in the photo session in Ibiza in person (or via video call).

This way, we can discuss what you expect from the photos, offer advice on your expectations, and go over important elements to consider.

Photo style: This is the main topic of the conversation beforehand. We will discuss whether the photos are for a pre-wedding, a vacation, or a keepsake; also, if you have a specific theme in mind, whether friends or pets will be included, and the style you want for the images.

Location: My photo sessions can take place in different locations in Ibiza, indoors, in the countryside, or in the city, depending on the couple’s choice, but always with my recommendations.

Timing: This is very important because poor lighting can ruin the photos, and natural light is always the best. It’s crucial to plan the timing carefully, as for outdoor photos, the best times are usually during sunset, but scene preparations should be done a few hours before.

It’s also important to plan how much time you need for these photos to avoid committing to other activities during that time.

Wardrobe and scene-setting or props: This is important as it greatly affects the aesthetic of the photos. It’s recommended to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely for the poses you like. If you want a specific scene, the set-up and props should be prepared in advance. While improvising can be fun, preparation is key.

Transportation: If you need to move from one location to another, it’s important to organize transportation. Also, consider the time needed to travel, so it doesn’t affect the shooting time.

Popular photo types in 2025

During this year, 2020, some types of couple photos have become quite popular, and here are our favorites, which can serve as inspiration for your photo book.

Instant photos: These are natural photos where people aren’t posing. Some couples don’t like this style and tend to avoid it, but if you’re the type of person who enjoys spontaneity, these photos will be your favorites.

Posed photos: Yes, you can copy famous poses from great romances. Don’t be shy about recreating iconic photos, as it’s become trendy to emulate vintage shots and add your own touch of color and tenderness. Find the ones you like most and recreate them, modifying them as you wish.

Intimate and secret photos: These are taken with just the couple and capture intimate moments, like shared looks, holding hands, and being in a small space only for the two lovers.

Photos with friends: If they’re part of your love story, why not invite them to your photo session? Include them in your memories by creating a great scene where everyone can share in the experience.

Photos with pets: Give your pet the space they deserve. Many couples adopt puppies or kittens, so include them in your photo session.

Tips for a great couple photoshoot

If you’re still nervous about your photo session, here are some tips to make the experience perfect:

Use matte makeup. If you can’t afford a professional makeup artist (which is really recommended), make your makeup as matte as possible and bring touch-up products if needed.

Feel it, let your emotions flow

Remember that this session is to preserve the memory of the great love you feel for your partner. Let your feelings show, and let them shine through your skin so the camera can capture them.

Don’t hold back and let all your emotions out.

Don’t bring too much stuff, only take what you need, or you’ll regret carrying unnecessary things from place to place. Lighten your load.

You won’t know where to place that big bag to avoid it showing up in the photos and ruining them.

Have fun. That’s what this is all about, creating a memory and experience of photographing with the love of your life. Enjoy the moment and live the incredible experience of a photoshoot with a photographer in Ibiza.

The ideal pre-wedding photoshoot

As an Ibiza photographer with years of experience, it’s important to know that a photoshoot before the wedding is perfect for getting to know the couple. This will enhance the quality of the wedding report, making you feel more comfortable in front of the camera.

So, you can achieve those couple photos you want, whether for your wedding or to symbolize how much you love each other.

Photos you’ll remember forever

Couples take many amateur photos, and some of them are truly beautiful, which is very common. A couple’s photoshoot is the best keepsake of your love, and these will be unforgettable.

My job as a couple photographer in Ibiza is to create a photoshoot that stands out from the traditional ones, capturing emotions, that look that says it all, or a spontaneous stolen smile.

I also offer wedding photography services in Ibiza, ensuring that the photos go beyond just wedding shots. I want to be part of your wedding and provide you with the best images to share with friends and family.
